I have been teaching for the last 12 years both privately, with one-on-one classes as well as in group settings in musical institutions and academies in the USA and the UK.
Skilled in piano and woodwinds (saxophone, flute, clarinet) – I have taught students of all ages and abilities. Passionate about all forms of music from classical to jazz and popular styles, I’m always able to engage with my pupils and get them excited about mastering their instrument. I’ve worked with students as young as 5 years old all the way through to people in their 50s – from those wanting to just have a bit of fun all the way through to students who want to become professional musicians.
Over the years, I have successfully instructed and coached students through the ABRSM grades as well as working with them to train for some of the most competitive auditions. Several of my students have gone on to gain entry into some of the most prestigious music schools after years of tuition from complete beginner to proficient musician.
In addition to my role as a dedicated teacher, I’m also a professional musician and have toured internationally; playing with a host of bands on some of the world's most sought after stages (Ronnie Scotts, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Rye Jazz Festival, Rawa Blues Festival, Dorthy Chandler Pavilion, ect.). I have played with the likes of; Grammy winning Blind Boy's of Alabama, Dom Pipkin and the Ikos, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Stanton Moore, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Johnny Neal (Allman Brothers Band), Robert Randolph, Alexander Liebreich (Conductor/ Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra), Disco Biscuits, New Mastersounds and Big Gigantic, and legendary jazz pianist Art Lande.
As a musician, I am incredibly passionate about what I do and always give a 100% commitment to every project I undertake. Whether that be a new student studying for their big audition or a live show in front of 10,000 people - they all deserve the same amount of attention and dedication
